Middle School TATU Students Visit
The Teens Against Tobacco Use group from the middle school came to visit first graders to talk about making healthy choices.
Shakin' Quakin' Earth Rocks
Our class had a great time learning about different kinds of rocks!
We practiced being Geologists and excavated chocolate diamonds from Chips Ahoy Cookies.
We learned about sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks.
We used graham crackers, frosting, and sprinkles to make our own sedimentary rocks, too!
We did make mini volcanos out of food coloring, vinegar, and baking soda.
Wellness Fair
Our students got to go to the Wellness Fair as a part of the
Alliance for a Healthier Generation program.
They got to do fun active tasks and learn about healthy foods!
